| Abstract: | In this paper, we present a vehicle detection framework which aims at avoiding collision and warning the dangerous situation during driving on a road at night. Potential obstacles- vehicles, motorcycles are detected from image sequences by a vision system which processes the images given by a Charge Coupled Device (CCD) camera mounted on a moving car. We can compute the position and number of vehicles from these image sequences by using several image processing techniques. |
