Abstract Indoor experiments were conducted to test the influence of extreme high temperature (EHT) on the biology of Liriomyza sativae Blanchard. The LD50 of EHT on egg, first instar larva, second instar larva, third instar larva, pupa and adult were 51. 4, 51, 1, 52, 2, 53, 5, 41.1 and 43. 9 C, respectively.
